Midnight Rice Blend is a combination of black beluga lentils, black quinoa and black japonica rice, that when cooked, come together in healthful harmony with rich flavor, unique texture and dark saturated color.
Basic Prep: Rinse the rice blend. Combine 1 cup Midnight Blend, 1-3/4 cups water and a pinch of salt in a saucepan set over high heat. Bring to a boil, immediately reduce to a simmer, cover and cook 25-30 minutes. Remove from heat, let stand with the lid on for 10 minutes, fluff with a fork and serve.
